PROPERTY PROTECTION AND SECURITY DEPARTMENT

Property Protection and Security department is one of the 4 active departments together with Health Institutions Management, Media and Communication, Banking and Insurance within Manyas Vocational School. Social Security Program and Occupational Health and Safety programs are active within the department and continue to provide education in two categories as primary and secondary education. Social Services and Private Security programs are also planned to be activated within the department in a short time. With its expert teaching staff, the department has created an education curriculum to help students gain the knowledge and skills that their students will need in the market.


SOCIAL SECURITY PROGRAM

There are rapid changes and transformations in the world in the field of social security. Budgetary problems in the field of social security and the expectation of countries to offer their citizens a high standard of living and service quality both while working and after retirement make reforms in this field inevitable. In recent years, there have been changes and transformations in the nature of reform in terms of social security in our country. Changing and developing social security system; It also brings with it the need for specialized and experienced human resources. In line with this need, our Social Security department was established within our university and started to admit students.
Purpose of the Program: The main objectives of the Social Security program are; is to train intermediate staff who can carry out social security transactions, especially in public institutions, as well as in the private sector, have a good command of the legislation, have analytical skills, strong communication, and sense of responsibility.

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY PROGRAM

In recent years, serious legal regulations in the field of occupational health and safety and in parallel with these regulations, significant developments and advances have been experienced in our country, especially with the effect of major fatal occupational accidents. Depending on the new legal regulations and the degree of risk, even some tradesmen and craftsmen need to get support from an occupational health and safety expert. The importance of the Occupational Health and Safety program is very high, as students who graduate from this program are given the right to take this certificate by taking the C class Occupational Health and Safety Specialization exam. By obtaining this certificate, graduates can start working as C class occupational health and safety specialists in public institutions and organizations, provided that they take the exam, especially in private sector organizations.
Purpose of the Program: To train occupational health and safety specialists who are able to carry out the occupational health and safety procedures required by public institutions and organizations, especially the private sector, have a good command of the legal legislation, have analytical skills, can respond to market needs in terms of occupational health and safety, and have a sense of responsibility.

PRIVATE SECURITY AND PROTECTION

The purpose of the Private Security and Protection Program is; Our mission is to train personnel in the security sector mentally and physically, who can catch up with the rapid change in the security sector, keep up with the technological development of the security sector, know the application techniques, are especially familiar with security technology, are well-equipped with relevant laws and regulations, solve problems, can be effective in the sector and have analytical thinking skills. . It is aimed to increase the service quality in direct proportion with the increase in the number of employees with higher education in the security sector.
